Have you ever had to do something which utterly terrified you? Have you ever been scared to death? Have you ever been up hard at work as the clock struck 8 a.m.? Well, I have. It all started that fateful fall morning. I woke up and walked happily through the cemetery on my way to school. When I got their I walked upstairs to a corridor which most people at school do not even know exists (and of those few who know of it all wish they did not), this is the place, hidden from veiew (many claim it to be haunted) dwell... dare I say it... dwell... dw... ell... (gasp)... my senior comp teacher!!!
On this day as I walked into my classroom and as usuall my teachers dressed like a maniac (even her shoes didn't match), on the table is a bowl full of candy corn the room is filled with orange streamers. On the bord writen in evil, chalky letters: BOO!!! Due at the end of class a terrible scary story!!
I screamed!!! It was as if I had to face all my inner monsters in 55 minute class period, I knew I couldn't do it, I pleaded with my teacher; "please don't make me do this, even if I could do it you and I both know it will be a horrible story and I'll run out of time and probobly just come up with an ending that had nothing to do with the story." She told me to stop coplaining and have a peice of candy, I took it and went to my computer to start working. I took a bite out of the candy bar and it tasted a little bit odd. Then I suddenly started gagging and chocking on blood. The End

I Didn't Wash my Car Last Month
I believe everything that this essay says with a few exceptions, I simply decide that if I am forced into doing such things I will simply not stress out about such things, if I am forced to do some stupid assignment such as commenting on essays which people wrote about what they believe in, then I simply will do so with as little stress as possible I will not attempt to argue wether or not something is worth believing in. I agree that I should not do anything in my life that I won't wish I'd done more of when I'm old.
A Dog's Life
I compleatlly agree with everything this essay had to say, I can completely relate to this essay, with one exception that I'm not compleatlly the responsibile one, occasionally I give into the example of my pet dog and lay around doing nothing, while I really ought to be doing something else.

Rock
In my back yard there's a ravine with a creek. In it is a giant boulder, whenever I went down into the ravine I would climb up on top of it and stop and think. Sometimes I would go down and sat on that rock for hours and just listn to the creek. Sometimes I'd go down sit on top of it and write random thoughts down, I'd sketch pictures of the creek and animals that showed up. I'd also go there and read books, I went down to read Harry Potter, A Series of Unfortunate Events and The Lord of the Rings. I'd also go down and do my homework, I sat there quietly wondering how do you find out the length of one side of a triangle, I also wondered how to use sig figs. I'd sit there quitely listening to music and thinking. I'd think about my life, feelings and what I'd do with my future. I also went down there whenever I got a part in a play, I'd go down and read my lines until I had them memorized. In the winter I went down, wiped the snow off it and sit down and think until it was too cold. One winter I tried to make a giant snowman out of it.

fireplace
There are many memorys I have about fireplaces, siting around the fireplace while grandpa talked to us, it was most likely his last christmas. When I asked him what he wanted he told me "son, all I want is one more chance to go fishing." We spent that Christmas sitting around the fireplace talking about old memories, the time he let me drive his truck, times we spent fishing, life lessons he taught us while sitting on his porch chewing jerky and trips we spent down at his farm, when he taught me what hard really was. He told jokes and told stories about the war. We spent his last Christmas making memories that would last a lifetime. He pulled an old photo album off the shelf opened it up and blew the dust off it. There was an old picture of him and some other guy both in uniform, when I asked him who it was he said "Tim, he had me back when we first landed till his plane was shot down in '43." Then he turned the page to his wedding pictures and I could see that wasn't the time to ask him any questions. He then turned to me and said "Its like they say, you should have seen it in color." He looked me in the eyes and told me if I ever meet the one to savor every moment. Then he opened his gifts I gave him old country record which he loved, spent the rest of the day listening to it and talking about the problems with today's modern music. This moment may have had the single biggest impact on my life. Then he told us he wanted to go to church. So we all got dressed and went to his church, I was amazed when he knew almost every person in the church and he lead us to the spot where he always sat. After the service he showed us where he and grandma got married then he went out to the cemetary and put flowers on her grave. Then we went out to an old fashion style resturaunt once again he knew nearly everyone.

Chairs
I have never been exeptionaly fond of chairs. They have their uses, like sitting upon them, but one day I realized that chairs are not only useful, but extremely dangerous. If you sit on a chair many things may happen, have you ever noticed that nine times out of someone has a heart attack in a chair? The other time its in a sofa. Also, on average 1,000 people die in their chairs a day. 10,000 more die in other peoples chairs. Its also true that chairs have radiation poisining 10,000 times more powerful than nuclear power plants. Chairs cause caner. Chairs cause colds. If you sit in a chair long enough you become a zombie. Chairs cause the black death. Chairs are evil. They also make you write dumb writing assinments on them.
